"In excess it can lead to hypersexuality and hyperstimulation of the genital region, sex crime, sexual addiction and persistent use of pornography. When repressed it can result in depression and neurosis"
As mentioned here, sexual desires can resolve in psychological effects of the human brain such as Depression and Neurosis. Advertisements use beauty & subtle nudity within commercials to attract consumers to wanting due to the strategy of tapping into our sexual needs. I personally believe this phycological strategy puts weight on our mind and creates a lot of bad choices especially if adverts are consistently advertising throughout society such as onto billboards, television etc.
To this day woman have been poisoned in the mind to thinking they are not pretty enough because of advertisers associated with creating insecurities which then puts emotional distress onto a woman and even men. This then creates a bad sense of attraction towards the fake models making you feel as if you are not good enough without the product etc.

"There are many ways to make a person feel insecure. Probably the most prevalent method is through advertising. Ads are everywhere. Companies constantly seek opportunities to inject need in the brains of potential consumers, reminding them that they would be better off with that company’s products. “Your body is not as attractive as it could be.” “You’re not making as much money as you could be.” “You aren’t as happy as you could be.” These neuroses natural to humans are reinforced by the slogans and manipulative words commercials use to get under your skin and remind you that you are not perfect."
I believe Woman of today expose their flesh such as cleavage to create attraction & attention just because their insecurities have completely tampered with due to ads. This can create unwanted attention when out in the street resulting in crime such as rape, sexual assault etc.
My opinion on the topic is that advertisement should not be allowed to tamper with our emotions as its a sense of controlling society/people
"Advertisers believe that thin models sell products. For almost a century, advertisers have appealed to – or contributed to – women’s insecurities in hopes of selling them the solution. In fact, advertising is so strongly associated with creating insecurities that when women are shown images of products such as shoes, perfume or deodorant in the context of fictional ads, they are more likely to answer negatively to questions such as “How attractive do you find yourself?” or “How satisfied are you with your body?” than if they saw the same photos in a neutral context"
There reaction to his figure creates insecurities within men and their physique. 'You need to be muscular in order to have a sexual appeal' Placing a sexual desire into a drink advert seems so irrelevant but captures the audience's attention.
