By then, Hurley’s star was already on the up, though. His influential early house track, Music is the Key, had been Chicago label DJ International’s first release in 1985, and by late 1986 he was recording as JM Silk with singer Keith Nunnally, and had signed a deal with RCA. As their image and sound was being spruced up by the major label, a more sparse solo track of Hurley’s started gathering interest, with UK label London Records travelling to Chicago to hear more.

The graphic design of album cover is combination of colour, design, pictures and creativity to appeal the mind of different types of audiences. It can be examined that the album cover with dominating pink shades was effective in communicating the multifaceted cues for the audiences. Most prominent communication media arts such as light, colour, depth, size and frame are eventually considered in designing the graphic for Jack Your Body (Kawase, 2014; Karjalainen et al., 2009). The designers have also considered the use of motion rate of visual elements to convey messages about the electronic dance form in front of the audience as Hostetler, (2006) in his work have also highlighted the effectiveness of the motion graphics to visualise the central elements and focus of a specific musical genre.
